The Founder

Nazlican Yoney chose gold over Google — and built a design house between two continents.

A descendant of the last Ottoman grand vizier, Yoney grew up between Istanbul and the world — absorbing the textures of Eastern heritage and the precision of Western ambition. She holds an MBA from Sabancı University and a degree in Political Science from METU, and spent years at Google and other leading tech companies shaping products used by millions.

Today, Yoney's work spans design, business, and culture. She writes for Vogue, serves on the Sabancı University Advisory Board, judges international business and design awards, and holds an EB-1A visa, a distinction the United States reserves for individuals with extraordinary ability.

She designs every piece in New York. They're made by hand in the Grand Bazaar. The distance between those two points is where House of Sól lives.
